Tip of the Spear (TOTS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of EOD Specialist to safely identify, locate and dispose of explosive hazards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of EOD technicians.
- Plan and execute EOD operations to safely dispose of explosive hazards.
- Coordinate with local authorities, military personnel, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to minimize risk to people and property.
- Maintain accurate records of all work activities and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) program and must be able to provide DA Form 1059 as proof.
- IMAS level 3 or 3+ certification (exception if you already have NAVSCOLEOD.
- Possession of a Team Leader Certificate.
- No current physical limitations that could impede job performance.
- Normal depth perception with no record of claustrophobia.
- Normal color vision.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and a financial records check.
- All TOTS positions require signing a morality agreement and standard conduct agreement.
